"As relegated to an interstitial space between the organic and artificial realm, between the inside and the outside, the body and the object, the flesh and the bones. Exoskeletons and endoskeletons at once, forced to an intermediate level between the micro and the macro. And as it is for the structure of shells or scaffoldings of construction sites, where forms follow the functions, in my works forms might follow an order, but the structures devoid of any function. Other concepts, such as assembly and repetition are also informing my research. In my works I seek a balance between form and material. I want the formal development of the physical work, the compositional rules that determine it - to be evident and what appears to transcend its aesthetical presence in the space, in order to open up new ways of thinking the relation between material and knowledge production."
