Martina Biolo was born in 1996 in Padua. She graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 2018 and is currently enrolled in the two-year specialist in sculpture. She lives and works in Padua. Her artistic research in recent years has studied the imperfections of the skin in relation to the daily object and is bonded to the material and surfaces. The objects analyzed are containers of personal symbols, emotional values connected to familiar moments and places. The objects play both a visual and conceptual role which, through mimesis, highlight a subdermal and internal material reality that becomes visible and external, giving tangible reality a strong sentimental connotation.
