"My research unfolds from the relationship with landscape as a subject of investigation, considered as a point of observation to get in touch with reality. To me landscape is natural, political, historical and personal. I consider the natural, historical and personal landscape, as if all these elements should contribute to the final result of my work. Staying in a particular place means absorbing its peculiarities and its characteristics, having an exchange with the people who shape it and live there. I think it is necessary to turn the subject of a work into a means to reach a deep and perceptive analysis of reality. This can give access to reality’s possibilities and its potential changes. Changing the perception of everything that is taken for granted and how we approach things and people offers the possibility of a destabilizing vision."
