Guendalina Urbani (1992) lives and works in Rome. Her work oscillates between semiotics and sculpture. In the same way that oscillates between gracefulness and danger. The harshness of things and their difficulty to exist, in the context created for them, is blended with the search of their aesthetic, lyrical and poetical value. A research based on contradictions from a character (of work) hidden but in plain sight. The mental and sculptural group shows a world that needs to be spoken as much as be experienced. The composition recounts itself to the mind. The combinations are trapped in their unsolvable life, feed by experimentation (experiential) of matter: Represented matter and real matter: Rose and steel, air and lead, egg (origin, life, soul) and trap. And other existences.
