
Cleo Fariselli
Cleo Fariselli (Cesenatico, 1982) lives and works in Milan and Turin. Born in a family of musicians and coming from studies of Theatre, she received her Degree from Brera Academy in 2007. She completed her education attending workshops held by Jimmie Durham (Ratti Foundation, Como), Rirkrit Tiravanija (Domus Academy, Venice) Liliana Moro and the Otolith group (Spinola Banna Foundtion, Turin). She's been artist in residence at Dena Foundation in Paris in 2009 and BAR Project in Barcelona in 2013. She has been finalist in Museion Prize 1, Museion, Bozen; Women to Watch, NMWA, Washington; 5x5 Castellò Award, EACC, Castellò; Ariane De Rothschild Prize, Palazzo Reale, Milan. Recent solo shows include Calipso, Clima gallery, Milan; Snakes in gutters, GAFF, Milan; U., Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, Milan; Samus Viridis X-9, Espacio Sant Pere, Barcelona. Among recent group exhibitions we find: Intuition, Fortuny Palace, Venice, TU35 Expanded, Pecci museum, Prato; Forever never comes, Museo Archeologico e d'Arte della Maremma, Grosseto; Estate, Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York; the Prague Biennale 5, Prague.
