Life is collaboration.
bn+BRINANOVARA is an ecosystem: a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment, interacting as a system. The artist duo embraces a cross-disciplinary practice, breaking boundaries between different fields and formats. Their research deepens among cultural and ecological archetypes and systems. They want to challenge the cultural rigour we are enslaved to, for the happening of the image as a kind of falling in love. The ironic-empathic register suggests to observe things from new perspectives. They try to give shape to the image resulting from their encounter with the multiform Real. So that the image becomes a fertile inquiry land both for them and the public.
Every day Giorgio and Simone try to overcome their personal imposition for a condition of freedom. Neither mine nor yours: a kind of intimate activism for forgotten causes.
