Bea Orlandi

Bea Orlandi (Italy, 1988) is an artist, writer, and educator based in NYC. She earned her MFA from Rutgers University in 2018. She completed postgraduate studies in art at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm and a master’s in Architecture from KTH, Stockholm. Recent presentations of Orlandi’s work include solo shows at Interstate Projects and King’s Leap (2019) and a two-person show at Galerie Philippzollinger in Zurich (2020), as well as group shows in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Sweden. Orlandi wrote and directed an opera, The Leather Mouse, that premiered at Abrons Art Center in 2018. In 2015 she received the EVA Bonnier’s prize for art in the public realm.
