Alice Pilusi
'My work slips in and out of reality going through an imaginary world, made of hyper-glowing, artificially satured, caricatural and grotesque visions. In my artistic practice I explore the spooky side of girlhood in the digital age, my works focus on the darkest shades of a consumer value system that fetishizes youth, beauty, innocence. The images I refer to and materials I am attracted to represent a sort of unfulfilled desire to come back to the time I was child.'
