Alessandro Vizzini
Selected Work
Using sculpture as a means of creating images, Alessandro Vizzini reflects on the concept of time, which he explores through a personal research on landscapes, intended as territories to be addressed both from a visual and perspective point of view, and as an interior journey, linked to recollections and memory. Through observation processes, the artist continuously connects nature and architecture, leading him to the production of personal narratives contaminated by mythological tales. Linked to his roots, which sink into the Mediterranean territory, in his works Vizzini transforms the concept of island into a temporal matrix, that ultimately becomes one with the path that the artist undertakes, like a sort of a moving parabola, with unpredictable formal implications.
